"These boys can play hard, yet still have the ability to create a warm, delicious ambience... Even a monkey would recognize their talent and effort."
- Antony Smyth, Imprint (Full Article Here)
"It's not a rock album, it's not pop or gospel and it's not the blues. Instead, it's a little bit of all that and then some."
- Richard Turtle, The EMC
"Indie Rock, but there are subtle elements of jazz harmony, prog time signatures, and classical flourishes that colour the music."
- David Reed, The Intelligencer
With members hailing from as far west as Winnipeg and east as much as Kingston,
this band’s music is as diverse as their hometowns. Now rooted in Waterloo On,
Long Range Hustle has spent the last few years building up to one thing – their
debut album. Now that "In Case of Fire" has been released in stores and on iTunes,
the culmination of the last few years is deliciously tangible.
The music has been described as "eloquent." It’s alternative rock with a background
in prog and jazz – and with moving lyrics to boot. Long Range Hustle is an attempt
at combining intelligent music with music you just have a good time listening to.
And if you see them live, you can tell they love to play it.
