The Best of 2017

It's that time of year again! Time for roasting chestnuts and open fires. Time for mulled wine and the iridescence of falling snow. Time for friends. Time for family. But most importantly... It's time for year end album lists! 2017 has been an incredible year for music, with so many fantastic albums being released. We agonized over our favourites, trying to distill our thoughts into list form. And lo and behold, we've done it!

Fall Shows!

As much as we love summer, we couldn't be more excited about what the Fall has in store.
First off: sweaters. Hoodies, hand knit, crewneck, we don't care, we just like sweaters. 
Second, we have a bunch of great shows lined up! We're hitting Waterloo, Toronto (4 shows!), Montreal, and Kingston as we gear up for the third thing we're excited about this Fall: Writing and Pre-Production for our next album!

We'll be in the studio recording in January so the shows this Fall are going to give us time to work through the new tunes in a live setting in front of your beautiful (hopefully smiling) faces. Ahh, just writing that out felt good. It feels real. We can't wait to share this new stuff with you, so we'll keep you up to date throughout the whole process.

One more important note: as part of our tour in Toronto we will be playing a Thursday night residency at The Dakota Tavern throughout October! That means four shows and there's some amazing bands playing too including Tragedy Ann, Family of Things, Will Hunter, Oh Geronimo and //AMISTAD//.

New "Up & Up" Live Video Out Now!

It's Raining Outside, So We'll Have Recess Indoors

There's some very big news to announce today - Long Range Hustle is officially a member of the Indoor Recess management roster! The news was made public today in a press release HERE. (Plus, take a peek around the Indoor Recess website. They do some cool things with cool people)

This is an important step for us in our career, and it wouldn't be happening without our (now official) manager Aven Hoffarth. We want to extend our deepest thanks and our tallest love to this incredible friend/colleague who works harder than anyone we know. We're so excited to work with the Indoor Recess team, and send our thanks to Joanne Setterington and Amanda McCauley for bringing us in to the fold. 

We're working on writing songs for a 3rd LP, and with the help of Aven and Indoor Recess, we're now confident that we can make this new album both a reality and a success.
