Bad Ideas...

To make our IndieGoGo campaign (which you can find at igg.me/at/longrangehustle) a unique one, we decided to try something new. Specifically, we wrote, acted, and filmed 2 sketch videos to help promote our campaign. We're clearly not professional actors, but we think they're worth a chuckle. In the first video, the band gets together with their manager to brainstorm ideas for a promotional video. The band turns out to be... less than helpful. Check it out below.

We want to give our deepest thanks to Joe Swallow, Sandy James, Eddie Majnemer, Matt Palermo, and Aven Hoffarth. Without their hard work and expertise we wouldn't have had any idea how to shoot a video like this.

Birthday Week - What a Blast!

As this weekend comes to a close, so does the Long Range Hustle birthday week, in which Josh, Kyle, and myself all have birthdays in the span of 4 days. To celebrate, we played a pair of intimate unplugged sets!

Firstly, we played Maxwell's Music House in Waterloo on Wednesday. We were joined by the incredibly  talented Chantal Warren-Grybas on cello. It was our first show in almost half a year, but the rust fell off quickly. We made some great new friends in Birch and Grand Format, who both played some great tunes. It was a treat to play at Maxwell's one last time before it moves to it's new location. That little room behind quiznos has been a mainstay for us throughout our time as a band, and we'll be sad to see it go. That being said, we're even more excited for the new version of Maxwell's!

Friday saw us playing at The Magpie in TO. We were joined by Travis Caine and Kara Gauthier of Navy Skies, who played some of our favourite Skies songs as an acoustic duo. The Magpie is a pretty cozy space, but there was room enough for some dancing during an impromptu cover of Wagon Wheel. It's always encouraging when people want to get up and move while you're playing.

We want to thank all of our friends, fans, and supporters for joining us this week. We love you all!
